One of the most regular comments that we hear as kitchen hygiene specialists is that it (kitchen hygiene) is time consuming and very costly. Our vision for your establishment is the management of your kitchen in an efficient and cost effective manner through the implementation of our products and services, the monitoring of these systems and the constant improvement of your standards of hygiene. Products used are SABS registered for use in a HACCP environment.
Our systems are base on HACCP principles. These principles are a recognized international standard for hygiene regulation. Without going into too much detail, HACCP is a management system for the production of safe food that has been accepted world wide and is due to become legislation in South Africa towards the end of 2007.

The HACCP Academy in Durban. This allows them to assist you in the implementation of our systems in the most expedient and cost effective manner.

Staff training is provided as an "added value" service to our customers at no extra charge. All learners receive a certificate when passing the required modules examination, and a training register is kept to record all training interventions.
One of the most common pitfalls in the dispensing of chemicals in a kitchen is not using equipment to perform this function. Studies have shown that when chemicals are dispensed through a product mixer it not only allows accurate dosages, but more importantly a cost saving due to the elimination of waste or spillage. The products that we recommend for use in kitchens meet the criteria as required by the SABS, this ensures that only the highest of standard are adhered to in the production of our chemicals. These standards are governed by our SABS and HACCP registrations of our products. GeoChem are also responsible care signatories, this work ethic dictates that care is taken of not only our staff, but the environment and our communities.
All of our spray bottles are colour coded to match the product and are printed with all relevant information such as applications, dilutions and safety information. In our reporting procedures our consultants will keep you informed as to the condition of the dispensing units as well as the condition of your own equipment. This eliminates costly repairs as minor problems can be identified early to prevent damage. The way in which your staff uses the equipment is also checked. Training is provided when needed.

Our consultant's reports offer an unbiased overview of the hygiene systems in your kitchen. This information can be used to benchmark hygiene standards. Our reports are clearly presented in a format that identifies risk or concern areas and recommends actions to control the areas of concern.
This file is maintained by the GeoChem consultant to assist management at all levels. It also helps to track trends and tendencies within the kitchen.
